All levels of experience are welcome and you can sign up when you show up for a workout, or get with Jim and sign up for a more lengthy membership… but it’s a cheap way to get some indoor riding in when it’s too cold, rainy or windy outside, or if you just want to change up your routine. Come out and try it!

Buffalo River Cyclists proudly announces the new club website. Equipped with a handful of new tools for the club, the site will be a hub of information and connection for our members while providing potential members with information about ourselves and a clear invitation to join us.

Three of the new member features we’re most excited about are the ride calendar, the news blog, and the forum. The calendar displays all upcoming scheduled rides and club events. Mousing over the event name will reveal all pertinent information for the event including ride times and locations. You’ll notice that each calendar event type, including road and mtb rides, are color coded so a quick glance gives you a heads-up about upcoming rides and happenings. You’ll also notice that the most immediate upcoming rides are featured in the header of each page on the site, meaning that a quick trip to the homepage will fill you in on what’s next. The news posts will also be featured on the homepage for the same quick access. If you follow other blogs via RSS you can subscribe to the news feed to have new posts delivered automatically to your feed reader. The forum is just getting ramped up but we invite all members to register and post your own news, questions, and ideas. Finally, you’ll notice that you can leave comments on each of the posts and we look forward to the discussion!

Special thanks to Derek Henderson for the fabulous featured photography and to our newest sponsor, The Field Set, for the beautiful and feature-rich site.

Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below or you can also use our new contact form to send us a message as well.
